Here I am referring baby as a small kid. They are said to be a face of God and they attract us with their smile and actions.
I will share my opinion and experience with you as below –
We can divide the babies into below different age groups :
Beby below 1.5 Year –
Babies special below the age of 1.5 year are so soft and they are not very aware of whatever happens around them. 90% of cases, babies are scared and they cry a lot during their hair normal cut. Many of us request barber to use blade to shave the head of baby. And main assumption behind is that doing so will lead to fast and nice hair growth.
Well, as I am not an expert on hair growth, I will leave that part to doctors to comment, but what I can tell you is that it is completely unsafe to ask barber to use a blade on you r baby’s head.
As explained earlier in this blog, babies are too scared and hence they are very difficult to manage during haircut. Use of any blade can put you in deep trouble as it can cause any deep scars and wounds.
I suggest you to don’t even ask your barber to use blade to babies below the age group of 1 year.
Between 1.5-3 Years –
As baby starts growing, they start guessing the surrounding. And hence, normally they are quite aware that what is going to happen to them. And if you can make them understand to sit quiet and not to jump while shaving their head, it can be tried at your own risk.
Though the risk factor is lesser but still you need to be vigilant and I will suggest to make them bald only if is necessity. You should have a proper reason which is above their safety.
Between 3-12 years –
As babies are strong and they get almost everything that you make them understand, Hence it is safe to make a baby bald. Just make sure that baby understands and agrees with your decision to make him/ her bald.
Conclusion –
I personally would recommend to not use blade or shave head of a baby boy or baby girl till the age of 3. As its too risky and you won’t forgive yourself till your life if some misfortune happens.
Hope, I was able to answer the questions in your mind. Please do like and comment any queries or feedback if you like this blog.
